Holiday gift boxes for employees and clients that give back
Baker's Heart cookies and a matted Oʻahu print for your team or clients, from $80. Every box helps to transform lives and support local art.

This year your team and your clients can open a gift that does some good. Baker's Heart, the bakery of the Hawaiʻi nonprofit Touch A Heart, and Kawika Lopez Photography teamed up on two holiday gift boxes. Each one has cookies to enjoy now and a matted print of an Oʻahu landscape to keep. Every box helps to transform lives and support local art.

Every box helps to transform lives
Your gift helps people build the confidence and skills to join the workforce. Touch A Heart works with people facing barriers to employment, including incarceration, homelessness and substance abuse. Its vision is "a world where people recognize their true value and can realize their full potential."
Transforming a life doesn't mean fixing someone. As Touch A Heart puts it, people aren't projects, and growth is cultivated, not manufactured. So the work starts with how a person sees themselves and what they believe is still possible. The skills come next, in a real kitchen.
First comes an eight-week internship. Interns get hands-on culinary training, Hawaiʻi food handler certification training, and help with resumes, interviews and finding a job. Graduates can stay on as apprentices, with more time in the kitchen building communication, teamwork and time management. Touch A Heart's social enterprises give graduates jobs too.
Baker's Heart is one of those social enterprises, a bakery where interns and apprentices learn the trade. Touch A Heart says every Baker's Heart purchase supports its training programs, and the cookies in every box are a Baker's Heart purchase.

These boxes grew out of a partnership that goes back a long way. Kawika makes Touch A Heart's photos and videos, from Baker's Heart's product photography to the films that tell Touch A Heart's story. He also films testimony videos with interns and employees, which help them show how far they've come so they can return to their community as contributing members sooner.
In Kawika's words, "Nobody picks the soil they grow up in. I try to remember that before I judge anyone. Touch A Heart built a whole kitchen around that idea. I'm proud to be working so closely with them."
A Team box for each person on your team
The Team box is a thank-you for each person on your team. For $80 they get a Baker's Heart Double Box, twelve lace cookies in three flavors, and a matted print of the photograph you pick.

A Client box for the clients you want to remember you
The Client box is the one gift to give the people who keep your business going. For $120 you get a Baker's Heart gift box of lace cookies and biscotti bites, and a matted print of the photograph you pick.

The cookies get eaten, and the photograph stays
A gift that gets used is the one people remember. In Custom Ink's 2026 survey of 502 employees, only 40% of the last gifts they got are in regular use, and 94% said a gift means more when it feels personal. Each box answers both. The cookies get enjoyed right away, and the print stays on a desk, a shelf or a wall for years.
The print is 8 x 10 or 8 x 12, in a white mat that fits any standard 11 x 14 frame. It's a photograph by Kawika Lopez, a landscape and aerial photographer based on Oʻahu, and it's printed here on the island.
Pick a photograph that feels chosen for them
You choose the photograph, and every box in your order can have a different one. All six are places on Oʻahu.
- Mokulele is the Kualoa ridge at sunrise, seen from the rocks of Mokoliʻi.
- Mokulua is the two islets off Lanikai from the air, in warm low light.
- Shoreline Cascade is water pouring off a mossy reef on the North Shore at sunset.
- Lēʻahi Kahiko is Diamond Head from the air at sunrise, with Waikīkī and Honolulu beyond.
- Kahana looks down from a ridge at the valley and beach curving around Kahana Bay at sunrise.
- Mālie is silky water flowing over dark reef at Papailoa Beach on the North Shore.

For a team, one photograph for everyone keeps it simple. For a client, pick the place closest to where they live or work, so the gift feels like it was chosen for them.
You can still order in December
Your boxes can be in hand for the office party even if you order in December. You can order through the end of December 15, and pickups run from November 16 to December 22. There's nothing to ship, so there's no shipping deadline, and you get to hand each box out in person. If you're ordering more than 25 boxes, place that order by December 1.
You choose your pickup day and spot when you order.
- Kalihi Union Church, 2214 N. King St., weekdays 8 am to 1 pm.
- Pearl City Community Church, 933 Lehua Ave., Wednesdays 1:30 to 3 pm.
Your pickup day is at least five business days after you order. There are no pickups on Thanksgiving or the day after. Your confirmation email has your order number, so a coworker can pick up for you.
