Print sizes and prices
Every print is made to order on metal or canvas, here on Oʻahu, and most come as a smaller matted print too. The sizes follow the shape of each photograph, so nothing gets cropped. Below, each size is drawn to scale on the same living room wall.

Metal, canvas or matted
Kawika has always leaned toward metal as his preferred way to show a photograph. The color comes out bright and deep, with a clean, modern look.
Metal
Dye-sublimated onto ChromaLuxe aluminum made in the USA. Colors run deep, detail stays sharp and the surface holds up for years. It suits the ocean and sky shots especially well.
Canvas
Printed with archival pigment inks on museum-quality canvas, then gallery-wrapped so it hangs clean without a frame. The texture is soft and there's no glare, so it's easy to live with in a bright room.
Matted print
A smaller, simpler way to bring one of these photographs home. It's printed here on Oʻahu on 275-gram satin photo paper, with rich color and a smooth, scratch-resistant finish. It's set in an acid-free white mat, 11 x 14 on the outside, with a backing board and a clear sleeve to keep it clean. Vertical photos are 8 x 10 and horizontal ones are 8 x 12, and both fit any standard 11 x 14 frame. Panoramas and square prints come in metal and canvas only.
How big should you go?
Above a sofa, a bed or a console, aim for a print about two thirds the width of the furniture. Over an 84 inch sofa that's about 56 inches, so a 48 x 16 panorama or a 36 x 24 print sits well. On an open wall with nothing under it, go bigger than feels safe. Most people end up wishing they had.
Hang it so the middle of the print is about 57 to 60 inches from the floor, or leave 8 to 10 inches between the bottom of the print and the top of the furniture.

Pickup and shipping
Prints are made to order and are usually ready in about a week. Pick yours up free on Oʻahu, or have it shipped anywhere in the US. Shipping is a flat rate by size, one for Hawaiʻi and one for the mainland.
Prints ship up to 60 inches on the long side. The 72 x 24 panoramas and the 40 x 40 square are pickup only. Get in touch if you need one of those shipped and we'll quote freight.
