Literally translated to "Island Jump," this image entitled Mokulele was taken from the small islet off the Ka'a'awa coast during sunrise. Without being familiar with the geography, you would know that the rocky formation and tiny sand beach in the foreground was part of a tiny islet. The contrasting colors of the sand and rocks lead the eyes up towards the dramatic and iconic ridge line of Ka'a'awa valley, a.k.a. "Jurassic Valley," for its repeated use in the Jurassic Park film saga.
