About this photograph
The neighboring valley to Kaʻaʻawa valley is called Hakipuʻu. This panoramic view of Hakipuʻu was created using 10 images stitched together. You are able to see almost the entire North-East coast of Oʻahu in the gorgeous orange light of sunrise. The grandness of the scene is meant to evoke a sense of wonder and awe. This location was also used extensively in many films within the Jurassic Park saga, as well the film Battleship.
