Closing gift ideas for Oʻahu realtors, starting with their new neighborhood

A print of their new neighborhood is a closing gift buyers keep. What to spend, how to time it, and 15% off every print for Hawaiʻi realtors.

The closing gift your buyers keep is the one that goes on their first empty wall. A print of their new neighborhood does that. It's Diamond Head from their lanai, the beach down the road, or the ridge they see on the drive home, and every time they look at it, they think of the agent who got them there.

Prints start at $55, they're made to order here on Oʻahu, and pickup on the island is free, so you can hand it over at the closing table. As a Hawaiʻi realtor, you get 15% off every print. Sign up with your brokerage email and it's set up the moment you sign in.

Their new neighborhood is the closing gift they keep

A print of the place they just moved to is personal in a way a gift basket isn't. The wine is gone by the weekend. The photograph of their own beach is still on the wall when they're ready to sell, or ready to buy again.

Realtors on Oʻahu already give Kawika's prints at closing, usually a place near the new home. It welcomes the buyers to the neighborhood, and it's from here, made on the island they just bought on.

How much to spend on a closing gift

The Close, a real estate trade site, puts a fitting closing gift anywhere from $50 to $500 (2026). A print fits anywhere in that range, and your realtor price takes 15% off every one of them.

Print Regular Realtor price
Matted print $55 $47
18 x 12 metal $210 $179
24 x 16 metal $360 $306
30 x 20 metal $540 $459
48 x 16 panorama $950 $808

A matted print, 8 x 10 or 8 x 12 in a white mat, is an easy thank-you for every buyer, and it fits a standard 11 x 14 frame. For a first home or a big sale, a canvas or metal print goes straight on the wall, ready to hang. Vertical and square prints have their own sizes and prices, with the same 15% off.

Closing gifts to clients are deductible up to $25 per person per year, the same IRS limit as any business gift (IRS Publication 463, 2025). This isn't tax advice, so your tax preparer is the one to say how it applies to you.

Pick the part of the island they'll call home

Start with the place closest to their new home, or the view they love most. Not every buyer wants the beach outside their own door. Some want the most beautiful part of the island on their wall, wherever they live.

For buyers in town, Honolulu and Diamond Head are the views they'll know by heart.

  • Pālolo, Kaimukī and Mānoa. Mauka i Makai looks from a ridge above Pālolo across Honolulu to Diamond Head and Waikīkī at golden hour.
  • Waikīkī and the condos in town. Nani Waikīkī is the city and Diamond Head washed in pink at the end of the day.
  • Kāhala, Kapahulu and Diamond Head. Kaimana is Diamond Head and Waikīkī from the air at sunrise, with gold light on the crater.
  • Anywhere in Honolulu. Lēʻahi Kahiko is the crater at first light with the city beyond, and it comes as a $55 matted print too.

Outside town, pick the beach or the ridge closest to their new place.

  • Kailua and Waimānalo. Waimānalo is the whole beach from above, all the way to the cliffs.
  • Hawaiʻi Kai and the east side. Makapuʻu Beach is the teal water and white sand, straight down.
  • The windward side. Mokoliʻi Reflection is the little island off Kualoa on a still morning.
  • The North Shore. Mālie is water spilling over a reef at Papailoa Beach, and it's one of Kawika's favorites.

Every print is sorted by place on the Diamond Head and Waikīkī, Kailua and Waimānalo and North Shore pages, so you can find their side of the island in a minute.

Get it to the closing on time

Pickup on Oʻahu is free and usually ready 7 to 10 business days after you order. Order about two weeks before the closing and you can hand it over yourself, at the table or at the front door.

If they're moving in later, ship it straight to the new address once they're in. It arrives 7 to 14 business days after you order in Hawaiʻi, and nothing in the box shows a price. For a Christmas closing, order by December 4 for delivery in Hawaiʻi or December 10 for pickup.

15% off every print for Hawaiʻi realtors

Your realtor price takes 15% off every print, in every size, every time you order. Here's how it works.

  1. Sign up with your brokerage email on the realtors page. Free addresses like Gmail can't be used.
  2. Tap the link we email you. Your 15% is set up the moment you sign in.
  3. Add prints to your cart while you're signed in. The 15% comes off at checkout, under your email.

Your price is tied to your email, so it stays yours. You never need to type a code.

Buying a gift for your own realtor

If you're the buyer, a print works the other way too. Give your agent the part of the island they sell, for their office wall. A $55 matted print is a thank-you they'll see every day, and a canvas or metal print makes a statement behind their desk.

Questions realtors ask

Will my buyers see what I paid? No. Nothing in the box shows a price.

Can I send prints to several clients at once? Yes. If they're all going to one address, or you're picking them up on Oʻahu, put them in your cart and check out once. If each one goes to a different address, send Kawika the list, and he'll quote the shipping for each and take care of the rest.

Can I use my realtor price with another code? No. Your 15% can't be combined with other codes.

What if it arrives damaged? Send a photo within 7 days and it's replaced free.

Can my buyers exchange it? Prints are made to order, so sales are final, and you can cancel within 24 hours. A place they know, at the middle size, is the surest way to get it right.

Start with your next closing

Think of the buyers you're closing with next and the part of the island they're moving to. Sign up on the realtors page, then pick their print. Your 15% is waiting when you check out.
