About this photograph
Easily my most popular image, this was taken on a late afternoon on a whim. After a long day, rather than starting on dinner, I decided to get into my element for the last few hours of sunlight. In a magical moment, I saw the beautiful colors blooming in the sky, draping Waikīkī in a pink color cast. I knew that it was a beautiful scene, but didn’t know what the final image would look like since I had to stitch nearly 25 images together in order to get the final panoramic that you see here. It was an amazing realization once it was compiled and I could see the entire panoramic view.
