About this photograph

Using a drone and stitching several exposures together, I created this image of a specific section of the Koʻolau Mountain Range on Oʻahu. This specific facade really stood out to me due to its geometrical symmetry combined with the dramatic light from one side. I chose to name this piece Pūʻao, translates to womb. Although typically pointing down, the triangle is often associated as a feminine symbol of strength and fertility. This image of Mother Earth and her fertile body and lush forests show off the miracle that is the female body.

Vertical photos are 8 x 10 and horizontal ones are 8 x 12, and both fit any standard 11 x 14 frame.
