This image was created while on a hike along the Koʻolau Mountain Range. After hiking for hours with my camera gear and drone, I found a launching point in order to gather the 4-6 images which were eventually stitched together to create this image. Over thousands of years the rain and water have carved this incredibly unique and stunning valley with sheer cliffs and deep river beds. Surrounded by lush forest, this is truly a one of a kind scene. Titled ʻĀhina, which means "Scar," this image reminds us that scars can be beautiful.
