About this photograph

Mokoliʻi, the small island off Kualoa Point, from the air at sunrise. The Kualoa ridge and Kāneʻohe Bay fill the frame behind it. Mokoliʻi means "little lizard," and from this height you can see why it's one of the most recognized shapes on the windward coast.
