The significants of this image is such that the location is unimportant. On this particular morning, I was having a difficult time discovering new compositions using the rocks along the beach, which are almost always elements in my seascape photography. After trying out a few shots, I did something that I almost never do. I found a black section of the beach and focused on the texture of the sand itself. I broke away from what I knew and tried some different. I was stunned to find that the patterns and textures created by the waves in the sand were absolute beautiful. My head always told me that there was nothing to be gained from something as uniform and simple as the sand, but if you look close enough, you can always find something interesting.
